Sport as a tool in prevention of gender-based violence #Seechange
The project “Sport as a tool in prevention of gender-based violence” included a variety of activities aimed at teenagers from the municipalities of Vogošća and Ilijaš; workshops with a psychologist on violent/non-violent communication and gender roles in society, boxing training sessions with the application of peer-to-peer methodology, and many performances by our football team at tournaments and other cultural and sports events in the country and abroad. Over the course of two years, senior schoolchildren from elementary schools in Semizovac and Ilijaš, boys from Football club Vogošća, and boxers from Boxing Club Vogošća participated in the project activities. The Mediterranean Women's Fund, which has believed in us and supported us since 2016, has enabled us to achieve such great results.
